GoHighLevel (GHL) is the industry standard for marketing automation, but its native design tools can often feel rigid and “templated.” For this project, the goal was to build a high-converting landing page that broke free from standard GHL constraints, offering a premium, custom-coded user experience.
Challenge
The client needed to display extensive social proof to build trust with high-ticket leads. However, the native GoHighLevel testimonial elements are static and bulky. The challenge was to integrate a dynamic, interactive display of success stories without slowing down the page or breaking the mobile responsiveness.
Solution
I engineered a bespoke solution directly within the GHL environment.
Custom Javascript Carousel: I wrote and injected custom JavaScript and CSS to create a fully responsive testimonial slider. This feature allows users to swipe through success stories intuitively—functionality that does not exist in the stock builder.
Code Injection: I utilized custom CSS to override the default GHL styling, giving the typography and spacing a polished, high-end look that matches the brand identity perfectly.
Mobile-First Architecture: I optimized the custom code to ensure the carousel and layout perform flawlessly on mobile devices, where the majority of traffic originates.
Results
The result is a landing page that combines the marketing power of GoHighLevel with the visual quality of a custom-coded site. The dynamic carousel significantly improves user engagement time, directly contributing to higher conversion rates for the funnel.
